Permanent Red is the fully opaque, slightly cooler red in the Dimension Acrylic Premium range, based on PR112 (Naphthol Red). Where Brilliant Red is vivid and light-bright, Permanent Red is deeper, richer, and more resonant: it reads as the red of dark roses, ripe cherries, and warm wine tones. Fully opaque, it covers in one pass and retains its depth and richness in even the thickest impasto application. Its slightly cooler, blue-leaning character makes it ideal for portrait shadow passages and warm dark backgrounds. In the ultra-thick heavy body formula, it sculpts and holds every mark without slumping. Dries to a gloss finish with a Blue Wool Level 7+ lightfast rating. Available in 75ml tubes and 250ml pots.
