Big coverage. A 30mm Wide Flat nib is made for backgrounds, huge letter fills, blacking out decks, large canvas pieces and legal walls. One pass covers a strip about as wide as a decent house painting brush, so big areas go down fast and even.

Shake it well with the cap on until you hear the mixing ball rattle. Then hold it nib down on scrap cardboard and press the flat nib down gently a few times until the paint has soaked right across all 30mm. A nib this wide takes a little longer to fill than a fine marker, so be patient and never pump it hard.

Line width and coverage. The 1mm Super Fine is for detail, the 3mm Fine and 6mm Medium are the everyday drawing and lettering sizes, the 10mm Wide fills shapes and does bold lettering, and the 30mm Wide Flat covers big backgrounds and murals. Most artists block in with a wide nib and finish with a fine one.

Yes. The acrylic paint ink is opaque, so it sits on top of black card, dark wood, painted walls and kraft paper instead of sinking in. Light colours on very dark backgrounds may need a second coat once the first is dry for full, solid colour.

Keep the whole flat edge in contact with the surface and pull long, steady strokes in one direction, overlapping each one slightly. Let the first coat dry, then add a second across the first if you want it solid. Scrubbing back and forth over wet paint is what causes streaks.

Yes. It works on glass, mirrors, bottles and clear acrylic sheet. While the paint is wet it wipes away; once fully dry it is permanent, so test on a small corner first and plan your layout.
