Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 3mm Fine Green
Our everyday low price
Drips, slime and monsters. Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 3mm Fine Green is a bright, opaque green acrylic paint marker with a reversible bullet and chisel nib for drips, characters, vines and letter fills.
Why the Kent Urban 3mm Green Earns Its Spot
Green is the drip colour. In a 3mm nib it is small enough for drips and vines and big enough to fill a letter without taking all day.
It covers light and dark surfaces, so it goes straight onto black card, painted decks and canvas.
How to Use Your Kent Urban Paint Marker
- Shake it. Cap on, shake well until the mixing ball rattles freely.
- Prime the nib. On scrap paper, press the nib down gently a few times until the paint flows right to the tip. Do not pump it hard.
- Pick your end. Bullet for even lines and fills, chisel for handstyles and thick and thin strokes. The nib is reversible, so swap ends whenever you need to.
- Test first. Do a few strokes on scrap to check the flow and colour.
- Let it dry, then layer. Water based acrylic dries fast. Wait until it is touch dry before an outline, a shine or another colour.
- Store flat. Click the cap on firmly and store the marker flat.

Getting the Most From a 3mm Fine Nib
The 3mm is the everyday size. Use the bullet end for outlines, sketches and filling small letters, and flip to the chisel end when you want handstyle strokes with real thick and thin.
For bigger pieces, fill the large areas with a 6mm Medium first, let it dry, then come back with the 3mm for outlines, shadows and shines.
Project idea: design a slime monster in your blackbook, then copy it onto a canvas sneaker in 3mm Green and Black. Seal it once it is fully dry.
Need the same colour in a bolder line? Grab the 6mm Medium Green. See every colour in the Kent Urban 3mm Fine paint markers, or browse the full Kent Urban acrylic paint marker range.
Same colour, other Kent Urban sizes: 1mm Super Fine Green, 10mm Wide Green, 30mm Wide Flat Green. Carry up to 20 of your 3mm and 6mm markers in the Kent Urban Marker Case with Keyring.
Questions About the Kent Urban 3mm Green
How do I draw drips with the Kent Urban 3mm Green?
Start under the letter, pull a line straight down and finish with a round blob at the end. Vary the lengths, then add a thin highlight down one side once it is dry. The bullet end is best for drips.
What is the difference between the bullet and chisel nib?
The Kent Urban 3mm Fine has a reversible nib with a bullet tip on one end and a chisel tip on the other. The bullet draws an even, rounded line of about 0.8mm to 1.8mm. The chisel is flat, so it gives thin and thick strokes from about 0.5mm to 2mm depending on how you turn it, which is perfect for handstyles and lettering.
What is the difference between Kent Urban 3mm and 6mm?
Line width and coverage. The 3mm Fine draws about 0.8mm to 1.8mm with the bullet end and is the everyday size for blackbooks, outlines and detail. The 6mm Medium draws about 1.2mm to 3mm with the bullet and up to around 5mm with the chisel, so it fills letters and covers bigger areas faster. Lots of artists use the 6mm for fills and the 3mm for outlines.
What surfaces does the Kent Urban 3mm paint marker work on?
Kent Urban uses water based acrylic paint ink that works on wood, metal, glass, plastic, canvas, fabric, stone and most smooth surfaces. On glossy surfaces like glass and shiny plastic, wipe off any grease first, let each layer dry fully, and seal the piece if it will be handled a lot.
Is Kent Urban paint marker ink permanent and waterproof?
Yes, once it is dry. The water based acrylic pigment ink is permanent, waterproof and UV resistant when dry, and Kent rates it for indoor and outdoor use. While it is still wet it wipes off smooth surfaces with a damp cloth, which is handy for fixing a slip before it sets.
Can I use Kent Urban paint markers on sneakers?
Yes. Kent lists fabric among the surfaces the range works on, and the acrylic ink grips well on canvas sneakers and smooth leather. Clean the area first, build the colour in light layers, let each layer dry fully, and finish with a clear sealer so your design survives scuffs and wear.
Can I layer and blend Kent Urban colours?
Yes. While the paint is still wet you can blend neighbouring colours on the surface for fades. Once it is touch dry you can layer over it with another colour, an outline or a shine without it lifting.
Where can I buy Kent Urban paint markers in Australia?

We ship fast Australia wide, and our team are artists who use these products themselves, so ask us anything.
