Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 1mm Super Fine Green
Our everyday low price
Slime, vines and toxic glow. Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 1mm Super Fine Green is a bright, opaque green acrylic paint marker with a super fine 1mm nib for drips, vines, monsters and fine details on almost any surface.
Why the Kent Urban 1mm Green Earns Its Spot
Green is the go to for drips, slime, monsters and vines, and the 1mm nib gets into the small stuff a broad marker turns into blobs.
It covers light and dark surfaces, so it works straight onto black card, painted decks and canvas.
How to Use Your Kent Urban Paint Marker
- Shake it. Cap on, shake well until the mixing ball rattles freely.
- Prime the nib. On scrap paper, press the tip down gently a few times until the paint flows. Gentle is the word.
- Test first. Do a quick line on scrap, or on a hidden spot of the surface, to check the flow and colour.
- Draw with light pressure. Let the nib glide. Build colour in layers rather than pressing harder.
- Let it dry, then layer. Water based acrylic dries fast. Wait until it is touch dry before going over it with another colour.
- Store flat. Click the cap on firmly and store the marker flat.

Getting the Most From a Super Fine Nib
A 1mm nib rewards a light hand. Hold the marker a little more upright than a pen, let the paint do the work and build colour in a couple of thin passes instead of pressing hard. Pressing pushes the nib back and floods the line.
Work from light to dark and broad to fine: paint or block in your colours first, let them dry, then finish with fine outlines and details. Keep a scrap of paper beside you to dab the nib on when you pick it up after a break.
Project idea: design a monster character in your blackbook, then copy it onto the side of a pair of canvas sneakers in 1mm Green and Black. Seal it once it is fully dry.
Want the same colour in a broader nib? Grab the 3mm Green or 6mm Green. See every colour in the Kent Urban 1mm Super Fine paint markers, or browse the full Kent Urban acrylic paint marker range.
Questions About the Kent Urban 1mm Green
Can I mix the Kent Urban Green with other colours?
Yes. While the ink is still wet you can blend it with neighbouring colours on the surface, or layer Yellow or White over dry Green to lighten and highlight. Kent Urban ink is designed so colours can be mixed for custom shades.
What surfaces does the Kent Urban 1mm paint marker work on?
Kent Urban uses water based acrylic paint ink that works on wood, metal, glass, plastic, canvas, fabric, stone and most smooth surfaces. On very glossy surfaces like glass, glazed ceramic and shiny plastic, clean off any grease first and let each layer dry fully, then seal the piece if it will be handled a lot.
How do I start a new Kent Urban paint marker?
Shake it well with the cap on until you hear the mixing ball rattle. Take the cap off, hold the marker nib down on a scrap of paper and press the tip gently a few times until the paint flows into the nib. Do not pump it hard or it can flood. Shake again before each use.
Will Kent Urban work on black paper and dark surfaces?
Yes, and this is where paint markers beat ordinary pens. The acrylic paint ink is opaque, so it sits on top of dark paper, black card, painted surfaces and kraft paper instead of sinking in and disappearing. Light colours and metallics really pop on black.
Can I use Kent Urban paint markers on sneakers?
Yes. Kent lists fabric among the surfaces the range works on, and the acrylic ink grips well on canvas sneakers. Clean the area first, build the colour in light layers, let each layer dry fully, and finish with a clear sealer so your design survives scuffs and wear.
Do I need to seal Kent Urban paint marker art?
Not always. On paper and canvas the dry ink is permanent on its own. On things that get handled, washed or worn, like shoes, phone cases, mugs used for display or skate decks, a clear sealer or varnish adds a tough layer and protects the fine lines from scuffs.
How should I store Kent Urban paint markers?
Store them flat with the caps clicked on firmly. Flat storage keeps the paint evenly spread so the marker is ready to go next time, and a tight cap stops the fine nib drying out.
Where can I buy Kent Urban paint markers in Australia?
Right here. Art Shed Online is an authorised Australian stockist of Kent Urban, buying through the official Australian distributor, so you get genuine stock, never a grey import. We ship fast Australia wide, and our team are artists who use these products themselves, so ask us anything. Kent Urban Green also comes in the 3mm and 6mm sizes, all in stock here.
