How to Use Your Kent Urban 30mm Paint Marker
- Shake it. Cap on, shake well until the mixing ball rattles freely.
- Prime the nib. On scrap cardboard, press the flat nib down gently a few times until the paint soaks right across the full width.
- Test first. Do a swipe on scrap, or on a hidden spot of the surface, to check the flow and colour.
- Keep the nib flat. Hold the marker so the whole 30mm edge touches the surface, then pull long, smooth, slightly overlapping strokes.
- Let it dry, then layer. Water based acrylic dries fast. Wait until it is touch dry before a second coat or another colour.
- Store flat. Click the cap on firmly and store the marker flat.

Think of the 30mm as a paint brush that never needs dipping. Keep the whole flat edge on the surface and pull long, even strokes that slightly overlap. Let the first coat dry before adding a second, rather than going back over wet paint.
