Why do we bang on about cotton? Because it changes everything. Cotton paper holds water evenly, lets colour flow and blend, and survives lifting and glazing without the surface breaking up. Paint on cotton once and cheaper paper suddenly explains a lot of your frustrations.

How We Use It

For lots of water, remove the sheet first and tape all four edges to a board with masking or gummed tape. It dries flatter and the tape leaves a crisp white border when you peel it off.
