Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 1mm Super Fine Pk 8 - Classic
Our everyday low price
Eight colours, one sharp point. Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 1mm Super Fine Pk 8 Classic gives you a full set of core colours with a super fine 1mm nib for outlines, handstyles, sneaker customs and blackbook detail.
Why the Kent Urban 1mm Classic Set Is So Easy to Love
A Classic palette covers the colours you actually use. In a 1mm nib it becomes a detailing kit for outlines, shines, patterns and tiny lettering.
Opaque acrylic paint means every colour sits clean on black paper, painted decks, canvas and plastic.
How to Use Your Kent Urban Paint Markers
- Shake it. Cap on, shake well until the mixing ball rattles freely.
- Prime the nib. On scrap paper, press the tip down gently a few times until the paint flows. Gentle is the word.
- Test first. Do a quick line on scrap, or on a hidden spot of the surface, to check the flow and colour.
- Draw with light pressure. Let the nib glide. Build colour in layers rather than pressing harder.
- Let it dry, then layer. Water based acrylic dries fast. Wait until it is touch dry before going over it with another colour.
- Store flat. Click the cap on firmly and store the marker flat.

Tips for Your Kent Urban 1mm Set
Shake every marker before you start, and prime each one on scrap paper, pressing the tip down gently until the paint flows. Fine nibs flood if you pump them hard, so take it slow the first time.
The 1mm is a finishing tool. Pair it with a broader nib for filling shapes, like the 3mm Fine or 6mm Medium Kent Urban markers, and use the 1mm for outlines and detail on top once the first layer is dry.
Project idea: pick one word, draw it eight times in your blackbook and do each one in a different colour from the set. The fastest way to work out which colour combos hit hardest.
More super fine sets: 1mm Pastel Pk 8, 1mm Fluoro Pk 4, 1mm Metallic Pk 4. Shop single colours in the Kent Urban 1mm Super Fine range, or browse every size in the Kent Urban acrylic paint marker range.
Questions About the Kent Urban 1mm Classic Pk 8
What colours are in the Kent Urban 1mm Classic Pk 8?
The Classic set has eight colours from the core Kent Urban palette. We will list the exact colour names here as soon as we have the set in hand, so check the product photos in the meantime or ask our team.
Can I use Kent Urban paint markers outdoors?
Yes. The ink is UV resistant and waterproof once dry, and Kent rates the range for indoor and outdoor use. For anything that lives outside, like a painted deck, a helmet or a piece on a legal wall, a clear outdoor varnish over the top keeps it looking fresh for longer.
Will Kent Urban work on black paper and dark surfaces?
Yes, and this is where paint markers beat ordinary pens. The acrylic paint ink is opaque, so it sits on top of dark paper, black card, painted surfaces and kraft paper instead of sinking in and disappearing. Light colours and metallics really pop on black.
Can I draw over acrylic paint with Kent Urban markers?
Yes. Paint a background with acrylic, let it dry completely, then add your linework and details with the 1mm. Because the marker is also acrylic, the layers bond well. Let the marker dry before you varnish over it.
Do I need to seal Kent Urban paint marker art?
Not always. On paper and canvas the dry ink is permanent on its own. On things that get handled, washed or worn, like shoes, phone cases, mugs used for display or skate decks, a clear sealer or varnish adds a tough layer and protects the fine lines from scuffs.
Why is my 1mm paint marker blotchy or flooding?
Usually it has been pumped too hard or not shaken enough. Give it a good shake with the cap on, then dab the tip on scrap paper to soak up any extra paint. Use light, even pressure when you draw. A fine nib needs a gentle touch.
How should I store Kent Urban paint markers?
Store them flat with the caps clicked on firmly. Flat storage keeps the paint evenly spread so the marker is ready to go next time, and a tight cap stops the fine nib drying out.
Where can I buy Kent Urban paint markers in Australia?
Right here. Art Shed Online is an authorised Australian stockist of Kent Urban, buying through the official Australian distributor, so you get genuine stock, never a grey import. We ship fast Australia wide, and our team are artists who use these products themselves, so ask us anything. The 1mm Super Fine sets are hard to find in Australia, and we carry the Classic, Pastel, Fluoro and Metallic sets plus single colours.
