Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 1mm Super Fine Pk 4 - Fluoro
Our everyday low price
Turn the volume up. Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 1mm Super Fine Pk 4 Fluoro is a set of four fluorescent acrylic paint markers with a super fine 1mm nib for neon outlines, glowing details and lettering that buzzes.
Why the Kent Urban 1mm Fluoro Set Is So Easy to Love
Fluoro is the fastest way to make something look loud. In a 1mm nib you get control: outlines that buzz, highlights that glow and tiny lettering that jumps off the page.
Pair it with Black for the classic neon on dark look.
How to Use Your Kent Urban Paint Markers
- Shake it. Cap on, shake well until the mixing ball rattles freely.
- Prime the nib. On scrap paper, press the tip down gently a few times until the paint flows. Gentle is the word.
- Test first. Do a quick line on scrap, or on a hidden spot of the surface, to check the flow and colour.
- Draw with light pressure. Let the nib glide. Build colour in layers rather than pressing harder.
- Let it dry, then layer. Water based acrylic dries fast. Wait until it is touch dry before going over it with another colour.
- Store flat. Click the cap on firmly and store the marker flat.

Tips for Your Kent Urban 1mm Set
Shake every marker before you start, and prime each one on scrap paper, pressing the tip down gently until the paint flows. Fine nibs flood if you pump them hard, so take it slow the first time.
The 1mm is a finishing tool. Pair it with a broader nib for filling shapes, like the 3mm Fine or 6mm Medium Kent Urban markers, and use the 1mm for outlines and detail on top once the first layer is dry.
Project idea: draw your tag in Black, then trace a second outline around it in fluoro 1mm about a millimetre out. It looks like a neon sign.
More super fine sets: 1mm Classic Pk 8, 1mm Pastel Pk 8, 1mm Metallic Pk 4. Shop single colours in the Kent Urban 1mm Super Fine range, or browse every size in the Kent Urban acrylic paint marker range.
Questions About the Kent Urban 1mm Fluoro Pk 4
Do Kent Urban fluoro markers glow under UV black light?
Fluorescent pigments usually react to black light, but Kent does not publish a UV glow rating for this set, so we cannot promise it. In normal daylight they are bright neon colours. If UV glow matters for your project, test one first.
What surfaces does the Kent Urban 1mm paint marker work on?
Kent Urban uses water based acrylic paint ink that works on wood, metal, glass, plastic, canvas, fabric, stone and most smooth surfaces. On very glossy surfaces like glass, glazed ceramic and shiny plastic, clean off any grease first and let each layer dry fully, then seal the piece if it will be handled a lot.
Is Kent Urban paint marker ink permanent and waterproof?
Yes, once it is dry. The water based acrylic pigment ink is permanent and waterproof when dry and resistant to UV, so it suits indoor and outdoor projects. While it is still wet it wipes off most smooth surfaces with a damp cloth, which is handy when you slip.
How do I start a new Kent Urban paint marker?
Shake it well with the cap on until you hear the mixing ball rattle. Take the cap off, hold the marker nib down on a scrap of paper and press the tip gently a few times until the paint flows into the nib. Do not pump it hard or it can flood. Shake again before each use.
Can I use Kent Urban paint markers outdoors?
Yes. The ink is UV resistant and waterproof once dry, and Kent rates the range for indoor and outdoor use. For anything that lives outside, like a painted deck, a helmet or a piece on a legal wall, a clear outdoor varnish over the top keeps it looking fresh for longer.
Why is my 1mm paint marker blotchy or flooding?
Usually it has been pumped too hard or not shaken enough. Give it a good shake with the cap on, then dab the tip on scrap paper to soak up any extra paint. Use light, even pressure when you draw. A fine nib needs a gentle touch.
How should I store Kent Urban paint markers?
Store them flat with the caps clicked on firmly. Flat storage keeps the paint evenly spread so the marker is ready to go next time, and a tight cap stops the fine nib drying out.
Where can I buy Kent Urban paint markers in Australia?
Right here. Art Shed Online is an authorised Australian stockist of Kent Urban, buying through the official Australian distributor, so you get genuine stock, never a grey import. We ship fast Australia wide, and our team are artists who use these products themselves, so ask us anything. The 1mm Super Fine sets are hard to find in Australia, and we carry the Classic, Pastel, Fluoro and Metallic sets plus single colours.
