Fluorescent pigments usually react to black light, but Kent does not publish a UV glow rating for this set, so we cannot promise it. In normal daylight they are bright neon colours. If UV glow matters for your project, test one first.

On glossy surfaces like glass, glazed tiles and shiny plastic, wipe off any grease first, let each layer dry fully, and seal the piece if it will be handled a lot.

Yes. The ink is UV resistant and waterproof once dry, and Kent rates the range for indoor and outdoor use. For anything that lives outside, like a painted deck, a helmet or a piece on a legal wall, a clear outdoor varnish over the top keeps it fresh for longer.

Yes. The acrylic paint ink is opaque, so it sits on top of black card, dark wood, painted walls and kraft paper instead of sinking in. Light colours on very dark backgrounds may need a second coat once the first is dry for full, solid colour.

Yes. They work on glass, mirrors, bottles and clear acrylic sheet. While the paint is wet it wipes away; once it is fully dry it is permanent, so test on a small corner first and plan your layout before you start.

Not always. On paper and canvas the dry ink is permanent on its own. On things that get handled, worn or left outside, like skate decks, shoes, jackets and bags, a clear sealer or varnish adds a tough top layer that protects the colour from scuffs.
