These NEEF pastel storage containers provide a secure storage solution for your delicate pastel collection, while keeping your studio or desk tidy.

The folding lid boxes are made of durable plastic with foam inserts nestled inside. The inserts have a die-cut top portion and a solid foam bottom. The slotted foam is glued to the bottom cushioning foam but will expand to accommodate larger pastels if required.

Ideal for storing, easy to access while in use in your creative space, and also suitable for transporting.

About the Brand

NEEF is an Australian brand of quality art supplies, specialising in paint brushes, artist quality oil and watercolour paints and mediums, and essential studio accessories. The NEEF range of traditional and modern artist products is known around the country for quality and attention to detail in manufacturing.

Walter Neef was born in Tanzania to parents who were coffee farmers. He was brought up in Stuttgart, Germany and returned home in 1945 when the war ended. He settled in Australia in 1947 and made furniture to make ends meet.

After seeing the quality of his woodworking, a university lecturer asked Walter to make some easels for the students in his art class. Walter jumped at the chance, he formulated some basic designs and continued to produce the finest easels available in the country until his retirement.

Guenter Neumann took over NEEF in 1964 after working with Mr Neef since 1961.

He introduced some more easels and has continued to build the range of quality art supplies under the Neef brand as a trusted wholesaler in Australia.
