The Mont Marte Clear Gesso Primer can be used to create a balanced and workable surface for your paintings, drawings and mixed media pieces. Whether you're creating on canvas, a skateboard or painting a small wall mural, the Mont Marte Clear Gesso Primer is a great way to create the perfect base texture for your piece.

Works on surfaces such as canvas, paper, cardboard, painting boards, wood, air-dry clay and plaster.

• Opaque white colour (neutral white point)

• Dries clear & is nono-yellowing

Handy hints:

• Prepare a variety of surfaces for a range of mediums

• Ideal for use with painting mediums such as acrylic, oil and enamel

• Ideal for use with dry media such as pastels, graphites, charcoal and colour pencils

• Can be mixed with acrylic paint to create a coloured gesso

• Suitable for most porous surfaces including canvas, paper, cardboard, painting boards, wood, air-dry clay and plaster

• Can be used in an airbrush: Mix it with acrylic thinner until it is the consistency of milk

• Dries in 30-60 minutes (may vary)
