20 x 25cm is roughly the old 8 x 10 inch format, a size painters have loved for portraits, plein air studies and small landscapes for generations. Turn it upright for a head study or on its side for a strip of coastline.

Panel Details

How We Use It

Prime with two or three thin coats of gesso, sanding lightly between coats. For oils, a fully primed, slightly absorbent surface helps the first layer grip.
