★ Art Shed Staff Pick
"This is the set we reach for every time someone asks where to start. It's also the one we quietly recommend to painters who've always meant to try pastels but never got around to it. The wooden case alone is worth getting excited about. It's the kind you actually want to leave on your desk."

Why Mont Marte Signature?

Mont Marte is an Australian-owned art brand with distribution across 60+ countries. Signature is their main range, a step above the entry-level Discovery line, with noticeably better pigment load and colour consistency. It's the tier most Mont Marte customers land on and stay with, because it delivers real results at a price that makes sense.

  • Everything is designed to work together. The oil pastels layer over colour pencils. The acrylics pair with the included brushes. This wasn't assembled as an afterthought , it's a coordinated system.
  • The wooden case is genuinely good. Individual compartments for each medium type. Nothing rolling around, nothing getting damaged, and it travels well. It's the kind of case you leave on your desk because it looks intentional.
  • No decision fatigue. The hardest part of starting in art is often not knowing what to buy. This set removes that problem entirely.
