Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 6mm Medium Pink
Our everyday low price
Soft pink with serious coverage. Kent Urban Acrylic Paint Marker 6mm Medium Pink is an opaque pink acrylic paint marker with a reversible bullet and chisel nib for bubble letter fills, cute characters, pastel backgrounds and customs.
Why the Kent Urban 6mm Pink Earns Its Spot
The 6mm Pink fills bubble letters and backgrounds fast with soft, solid colour.
It is opaque acrylic, so it stays pink on dark surfaces instead of going see through.
How to Use Your Kent Urban Paint Marker
- Shake it. Cap on, shake well until the mixing ball rattles freely.
- Prime the nib. On scrap paper, press the nib down gently a few times until the paint flows right to the tip. Do not pump it hard.
- Pick your end. Bullet for even lines and fills, chisel for handstyles and thick and thin strokes. The nib is reversible, so swap ends whenever you need to.
- Test first. Do a few strokes on scrap to check the flow and colour.
- Let it dry, then layer. Water based acrylic dries fast. Wait until it is touch dry before an outline, a shine or another colour.
- Store flat. Click the cap on firmly and store the marker flat.

Getting the Most From a 6mm Medium Nib
The 6mm is the fill and outline size. Lay the chisel end flat and pull long, overlapping strokes for solid letter fills, then use the bullet end for bold outlines.
Let the first coat dry before adding a second, rather than scrubbing over wet paint. Finish fine details and shines with a 3mm Fine once everything is dry.
Project idea: paint a row of bubble letters across a deck in Pink, Lilac and Light Blue, then outline them all in Black.
Need the same colour in a finer line? Grab the 3mm Fine Pink. See every colour in the Kent Urban 6mm Medium paint markers, or browse the full Kent Urban acrylic paint marker range.
Questions About the Kent Urban 6mm Pink
How do I draw bubble letters with Kent Urban markers?
Sketch your letters lightly in pencil as fat, rounded shapes that overlap a little. Fill them with the 6mm, let it dry, then outline in Black and add small White shines on the top curves.
What is the difference between Kent Urban 3mm and 6mm?
Line width and coverage. The 3mm Fine draws about 0.8mm to 1.8mm with the bullet end and is the everyday size for blackbooks, outlines and detail. The 6mm Medium draws about 1.2mm to 3mm with the bullet and up to around 5mm with the chisel, so it fills letters and covers bigger areas faster. Lots of artists use the 6mm for fills and the 3mm for outlines.
What surfaces does the Kent Urban 6mm paint marker work on?
Kent Urban uses water based acrylic paint ink that works on wood, metal, glass, plastic, canvas, fabric, stone and most smooth surfaces. On glossy surfaces like glass and shiny plastic, wipe off any grease first, let each layer dry fully, and seal the piece if it will be handled a lot.
Can I use Kent Urban paint markers on sneakers?
Yes. Kent lists fabric among the surfaces the range works on, and the acrylic ink grips well on canvas sneakers and smooth leather. Clean the area first, build the colour in light layers, let each layer dry fully, and finish with a clear sealer so your design survives scuffs and wear.
Do I need to seal Kent Urban paint marker art?
Not on paper or in a blackbook, where the dry ink is permanent on its own. On things that get handled, worn or left outside, like skate decks, sneakers, helmets and jackets, a clear sealer or varnish adds a tough top layer that protects your work from scuffs.
Can I layer and blend Kent Urban colours?
Yes. While the paint is still wet you can blend neighbouring colours on the surface for fades. Once it is touch dry you can layer over it with another colour, an outline or a shine without it lifting.
How do I swap the Kent Urban nib from bullet to chisel?
The nib is reversible, with a bullet tip on one end and a chisel on the other. Cap the marker and give it a shake first, then gently pull the nib out, turn it around and push it back in firmly. Clean fingers or a pair of tweezers make it easy. Prime it on scrap paper before you start again.
