A showstopper of a bird. Byron's Peacock design sets a shimmering blue and green peacock on a branch against a swirling sky of burnt orange and red, with a scatter of pale blossom. The contrast is dramatic and rich, and every eye on its long tail is made up of little numbered shapes that are a joy to fill in.

Why You Will Love This Kit

The swirling orange background is made of big, relaxing shapes, while the peacock gives you plenty of detail to focus on. It is a satisfying balance for a calm evening of painting.

The jewel tones look stunning in a living room, hallway or study.

About the Peacock Design

A proud peacock in vivid teal, royal blue and emerald green, perched on a dark branch with soft pink and white blossoms. Behind it, the sky swirls in bold oranges and reds.

How Paint by Numbers Works

1. Set up. Lay the canvas flat on a table with good light and keep the finished picture beside you as your guide.
2. Match the numbers. Every shape on the canvas has a number that matches a paint pot. Open one colour at a time.
3. Paint dark to light. Start with the darker colours and larger areas, then move to lighter shades and small details.
4. Use the right brush. Use the bigger brush for large shapes and the finest brush for edges and tiny areas.
5. Check and touch up. Once dry, hold it up to the light and add a second coat anywhere the printed numbers still show.
