Paint and special effects in one set. The Byron Acrylic Paint & Mediums Pot Set has 20 popular acrylic colours in 15ml pots, plus four 15ml mediums to play with: Gold Glitter, Opal Glitter, Iridescent and Crackle. Mix the glitter mediums in for sparkle, add a pearly shimmer with iridescent, or create an aged, cracked finish on craft projects.

★ Art Shed Staff Tip
Try crackle over a contrasting base coat. Paint one colour, let it dry, brush on the crackle, then paint a second colour on top and watch the cracks reveal the first.

Most starter sets give you colour only. This one adds four effects mediums, so you can experiment with sparkle, shimmer and texture straight away.

The airtight, stackable pots keep paint fresh and are easy to store and reuse.

The 4 Mediums

Gold Glitter and Opal Glitter: micro glitter flakes in a clear base. Mix into paint or brush over dry work for sparkle.

Iridescent: adds a pearly, colour shifting shimmer to any colour.

Crackle: creates a cracked, aged finish. Thin layers give fine cracks and thick layers give large cracks. Best on hard surfaces, and allow about 24 hours to dry.
