Tips for Using Blackwattle Prestige Porcelain Paper Clay

• Work gently: Porcelain is naturally finer and can be more sensitive to overworking. Take your time when compressing, shaping and joining the clay.

• Great for handbuilding: This clay is particularly well suited to building techniques, making it a good choice for delicate forms, sculptural work and fine details.

• Take advantage of the paper fibres: The cellulose fibres provide increased plasticity and strength, making paper clay useful when working with thin or more complex forms.

• Build in stages: For larger or more intricate pieces, allow sections to firm up before adding more clay. This helps maintain the shape and reduces distortion.
