Clay by numbers, starring a panda. Match each numbered pack of air dry clay to its section on the pre-framed 30 x 40cm canvas, then press, smooth or sculpt it into a bold, textured 3D panda. It is calm, tactile and completely mess free, and it hangs straight on the wall when you are done.

Why Clay by Numbers Is So Relaxing

It works just like paint by numbers, only with soft clay instead of paint. Every colour is numbered, so there is no guesswork, and you choose how much texture to add. Flat and smooth looks like a painting, sculpted and raised looks like a little relief sculpture.

About the Panda Design

Bold black and white, the panda is a graphic, striking design that suits almost any room. The strong contrast also makes it a great first clay by numbers project, because each section is easy to see.

How Clay by Numbers Works

1. Find the number. Each section of the pre-framed canvas has a number that matches a clay colour.
2. Soften the clay. Pinch off a little and warm it in your fingers.
3. Press it on. Press the clay onto its matching section and spread it to the lines.
4. Shape and texture. Leave it smooth like paint, or use the tools to build 3D texture.
5. Let it dry. Leave the canvas flat to air dry, then hang it.
