★ Art Shed Staff Tip

For terrazzo, chop small pieces of two or three colours, scatter them over a rolled out base colour and roll again. The chips flatten into the base and you get that speckled stone look.

Getting Started

Condition each colour by kneading it until soft. Twist two colours together for marbling, or try the terrazzo chip method. Shape your dish over an oven safe bowl so it holds its curve while baking. Sculpey III bakes in a home oven at 135°C for 15 minutes per 6mm of thickness. Always follow the instructions on the pack, and never microwave polymer clay.
