Richeson Untempered Hardboard Panel 5 x 7 Inch

Richeson Untempered Hardboard Panel is made from 100% certified FSC timber. The timber is broken down into its basic fibres then rearranged to form engineered panels that are stronger, denser and harder than the original timber.

The 3.2mm thick panel has a completely flat, smooth finish of superior paintability without the use of chemicals. These panels are are perfect as a painting surface, mixing palette or for taping down watercolour paper. This panel is 127 x 178mm inches in size. 

Made from high-quality untempered hardboard, (not MDF), offering a denser, more natural fibre panel with a smoother working surface and improved paint adhesion

Untempered means the hardboard has not been heat- or oil-treated during manufacturing, leaving it in a more natural, absorbent state that is ideal for priming and fine art applications
