Every colour in this set has a job. Blues and turquoises for water at every depth, greens for seaweed, warm reds, oranges and yellows for fish and coral, and two soft pinks for shells and sand.

Prismacolor Premier pencils have soft, thick, wax based cores packed with pigment. They lay down rich colour with very little pressure, blend into each other with a colourless blender or a light pencil, and layer up to a painterly finish.

Getting Started

Start light. Map out the shapes with gentle pressure, then build colour in layers, darkest blues last. Press harder only on the final layer to burnish the colours together.
