Australian Sienna (PY83, PR101, PY42, Series 3) is a warm, earthy orange-brown that captures the colour of Australian iron-rich soils, sandstone, and the warm ochre of dry grass and tree bark. Australian Yellow Green (PY14, PY83, PG7, Series 3) is the vivid, high-chroma yellow-green of Australian bush vegetation in strong sunlight: eucalyptus leaves, new growth, and the bright greens of coastal scrub. Australian Red Violet (PV19, Series 6) is a luminous, transparent red-violet made from quinacridone pigment, used for deep shadows, the purple-red of Australian wildflowers, and the atmospheric violet-blue of distant ranges.
