Matisse Structure Acrylic Paint is a high-quality Artists' Acrylic loved by Artists' in Australia and Globally. Structure's formula makes it a rich buttery impasto acrylic paint and it is the ideal choice of paint when a thick gestural application is desired. Structure can be used straight from the tube and applied thickly with a brush or palette knife, or can be thinned with mediums from the Matisse range, while still retaining its vibrant highly pigmented colours.

What is the difference between Zinc White and Titanium White?

Zince White Cooler, more delicate white

• Pigment: PW4 (Zinc Oxide)

• Opacity: Semi-transparent, much more translucent than Titanium

• Tinting Strength: Low to moderate, creates softer, more subtle tints

• Ideal for glazing, delicate highlights, mixing when you want gentle lightening without overpowering the base colour, and for maintaining translucency in layers.

Titanium White Slightly cool, bright white

• Pigment: PW6 (Titanium Dioxide)

• Opacity: Very opaque — the most opaque white available.

• Tinting Strength: Very strong — a small amount will strongly lighten colours.

• Best for creating strong highlights, covering other colours, or when you need maximum coverage and brightness.

• Because it’s so opaque and strong, it can easily overpower other colours when mixing, so use sparingly if you want subtle tints.
