Instructions for using a Quill with Metal Nib

• Gently dip the metal nib into your ink bottle, just enough to cover the tip (about halfway up the nib).

• Tap the nib lightly on the bottle’s edge to remove any excess ink.

• Hold the quill at a comfortable angle, similar to a fountain pen, and begin writing with light, steady pressure.

• Re-dip the nib into the ink whenever the flow starts to fade.

• After use, wipe the nib clean with a soft cloth to prevent ink build-up or rust.

• Store your quill in a dry place, ideally upright or flat, to protect the feather and nib.
