Dive into something bright. Byron's Reef design features a big orange tropical fish with purple stripes gliding through clear turquoise water, with a colourful coral reef and little fish below. It is sunny, calming and very Australian summer, perfect for a bathroom, beach house or kids room.

Why You Will Love This Kit

Large areas of turquoise water make this one of the most relaxing designs in the range, with just enough detail in the coral and fish to keep things interesting.

It is a lovely summer holiday project and a great gift for anyone who loves snorkelling or the reef.

About the Reef Design

A bold orange and purple tropical fish takes centre stage in sunlit aqua water, with coral, sea plants and a few smaller fish along the bottom. The colours are warm, fresh and full of light.

How Paint by Numbers Works

1. Set up. Lay the canvas flat on a table with good light and keep the finished picture beside you as your guide.
2. Match the numbers. Every shape on the canvas has a number that matches a paint pot. Open one colour at a time.
3. Paint dark to light. Start with the darker colours and larger areas, then move to lighter shades and small details.
4. Use the right brush. Use the bigger brush for large shapes and the finest brush for edges and tiny areas.
5. Check and touch up. Once dry, hold it up to the light and add a second coat anywhere the printed numbers still show.

Tips for Painting Your Reef

Paint all the turquoise water first. Once the background is done, the fish and coral look brighter and the picture comes together fast.
