About the Love Birds Design

Two round, bright blue birds with rusty orange chests sit close together in the centre panel. Leafy branches, moss and glowing orange, pink and blue flowers fill the side panels, with a soft green background that ties all three together.

How Paint by Numbers Works

1. Set up. Lay the canvas flat on a table with good light and keep the finished picture beside you as your guide.
2. Match the numbers. Every shape on the canvas has a number that matches a paint pot. Open one colour at a time.
3. Paint dark to light. Start with the darker colours and larger areas, then move to lighter shades and small details.
4. Use the right brush. Use the bigger brush for large shapes and the finest brush for edges and tiny areas.
5. Check and touch up. Once dry, hold it up to the light and add a second coat anywhere the printed numbers still show.
