About the Author/Illustrator

Heather Kilgour was originally from New Zealand, and has been living in and making art in the UK since 2007. Her art education includes an MA in Fine Arts from RMIT Melbourne, and an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge. Having specialised in metal work and sculpture in her early career, her work can be seen on film, in The Lord of the Rings franchise and in the film King Kong. In this book series her incredible illustration work is brought to life.
